I feel lucky to have saved this Architectural Digest from November 2004. This issue showcases Ricky and Ralph Lauren's home in Bedford, New York. I have a bad habit of throwing away magazines. I cringe when I think of all of Domino magazines that I got rid of during one cleaning spree or another. When I look at the images of this estate, I can't think of another home's interior that even compares to the admiration I feel for this one...well maybe another Lauren home.
Photos by Durston Saylor I know this home will continue to inspire me no matter how many times I look at the photographs. I love the dark wood, equestrian touches, plaid draperies, organized clutter and blue and white porcelain accents.

You should see the collection I have of magazines Ralph has appeared in (and on the cover!)...I should do a post on it. I have this one too and when he has one like this I usually buy more than one copy just as a backup "in case." haha...I'm obsessed.
