Graduation Eve

On the eve of JCW's graduation we checked into The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.

The interior of the hotel was lovely.

Next on the agenda was a bite at Old Ebbitt Grill.

It was soft shell crabs all around.

EAS & JCW

SAS managed to smuggle some Graul's cupcakes from Baltimore so we had an impromptu birthday celebration for BLS.

  4. I love your red top. My husband's office is right across the street from the Mayflower. Did you do a little shopping in Thomas Pink? :-)

  5. EAS, would you kindly explain to me how you are able to eat all of that delicious, rich food and remain so tiny? It's just not fair! ;-)

  6. My top is from Forever21 and I also have it in navy. Most of the time I leave disappointed but once in a while I get lucky so it’s always worth popping in!

I am not a big dieter and it would be very hard to diet with JCW in the picture! I have worked out my entire life until the past two years due to my undetermined allergies. I have allergy attacks indoors and outdoors when I do cardio. It’s been very frustrating and changed my life drastically so thank you for the compliment...hopefully the extra lbs aren’t showing.

Nothing beats shopping and eating! xx

  10. Old Ebbitt Grill one of my old haunts! I by chance met basketball player Larry Bird in the ebbit bar there years ago, not sure if the old Ebbitt are still owned by the Clyde's of Georgetown folks?
Looks like you had a fun time! Have JCW check out Thomas Pink at the Mayflower.

  13. Food at Old Ebbit is pretty bad, hope you got lucky. They do have Boddington's on tap, if you like it. Congrats JCW!

  14. I have had a few meals in that very restaurant and spent quite a few night in a room at the hotel, it remains on my list of fun hotels where you can also get a decent night's sleep.

    Sending you a smile!
