Kettle Hill

Last month we were invited to a preview night at one of Baltimore's newest restaurants, Kettle Hill.

The beautiful wood floors and the tufted leather banquettes created a rich and inviting feel.

"Traditional American dining in the spirit of Teddy Roosevelt & the Rough Riders when America was grounded in quality, community and social elegance"

We made a beeline to the Saddle Bar for drinks before dinner. The copper bar was stunning and I loved the little details like the horseshoe handbag hooks.

Kettle Hill makes their own ice in various shapes and textures which is geared to each cocktail.

To start we sampled a slew of different sides...Andouille Bread Pudding, Fried Green Tomatoes, Oysters, Clams.

They also brought out the Charcuterie Sampler.

I had the lamb burger and the table's favorite was without a doubt the Bison Steak.

Krispy Kreme Bananas Foster

Berger Cookie Ice Cream

I don't know if I was more impressed with the desserts or the wait staff's stylish uniforms.

Not only did I get to try this amazing new restaurant, I also finally got to meet Nelle from Stone Hill Farm. She was so sweet and even surprised us with an engagement toast after dinner.

Special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. P for such a fabulous evening and Nelle for being even more fun than I imagined! xx

  8. Great looking group and great looking restaurant. I am actually heading there this evening for a business meeting. Doubt my evening will be as much fun as yours' was.

Nice seeing you on Sunday and I chatted with JCW after you left. Looking forward to seeing your pictures. If you have any good ones of the little guy, I'd love to see them. I think you have my email.

  12. Hey Erin! So glad you did a post about KH! My dad has been involved with working to make Kettle Hill a reality for a couple years now so I'm so glad everyone is excited about it. I can't wait to check it out when I'm back in Bmore in early June before I move to Paris!
