End of Summer Hiatus

Image: Susan Branch
I am taking a little time off to enjoy the rest of my summer. I will be visiting Martha's Vineyard...

meeting MBW's new addition for the very first time...

and putting some J.Crew cashmere to use with cooler temperatures in the evenings.

Congratulations to the winner of the Southern Tide Skipjack Polo, Amanda from Eloquent English. I would love any recommendations you all have for the Vineyard. To see what I will be up to, follow me on Twitter and Instagram...be back after Labor Day!

  4. I hope you have a fabulous trip! This weekend is illumination in Oak Bluffs...they light up all the gingerbread houses and have fireworks. Edgartown is my absolute favorite spot - fabulous shopping (Lilly, Tory, Shoshana, Milly, J.McLaughlin, Vineyard Vines...the works), delicious dining at the Atlantic overlooking the harbor, an English pub feel at the Newes, and gorgeous streets for romantic strolls. Cannot wait to hear all about it! XX

  9. I challenge you to take down my 14 year old personal record at the dock carousel for capturing brass rings. 48's the number to beat...XXOO

ps...I'll pass along the advice the dock hand scowlingly shared with us at the time; "For f*** sake, don't eat at that hippie run Black Dog restaurant. None of the waitresses shave their pits then they cart the breads around tucked under their arms!" Only from the mouths of locals ;)
