Shoo-Fly Diner

My weekend agenda consisted of trying a new restaurant in Baltimore called Shoo-Fly Diner. It's owned by the same proprietors as Woodberry Kitchen. The menu is local, comfort food and the atmosphere is casual and very kid friendly.

I headed there Thursday night with the QG and sampled their Disco Fries and Bourbon Slush.

My foodie husband had restaurant envy, so I ended up going the following evening as well. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger Salad and couldn't have been more pleased. Another standout was my gluten free Biscuit that came with homemade Grape Jelly.

I am off for a quick adventure. Have a Happy Halloween and see you all next week!

  1. I have so been looking forward to this opening; it's right across from the Junior League headquarters and I know this is going to become our new pre and post-meeting stop!

    Enjoy your trip!

  5. Sounds delicious! I love disco fries, that is a staple in all NJ diners, and hard to find elsewhere. Is that an egg on top? I have never seen that before.

  7. Went there last night and had a great experience. The food was great and so was the service. Drinks were fabulous. Too bad they've "disabled" the slide. It's still there, but you can't slide down it.
