I tend to hibernate in the winter. The only way I get through the cold months is by watching a lot of movies and eating comfort food. On occasion I have run out of movies on my
Netflix queue and it defaults to JCW’s list…let’s just say we don’t have the same taste in movies so it’s always a letdown when I receive a documentary on the art of BBQ! Here are my Five Favorite Flicks...if you haven't seen them I strongly recommend adding them to your queue.
Something's Gotta Give Wall Street
Trading Places You've Got Mail CasinoI have tagged several of my favorite bloggers to find out their Five Favorite Flicks...
Anyone who wants to play along or leave me a comment please feel free to participate. Thanks for helping me get through the winter with your Favorite Flicks. It was quite the challenge to just pick five...good luck! xx

The Proposal is a movie I will never tire of! Lovely wardrobe for Sandra Bullock, a fabulous vintage boat, a beautiful setting, lots of laughs and a happy ending-- love it!
ReplyDeleteI just watched Taken the other night and really liked it. Not a top five, but good if you're looking for a little action. I also get sucked in to HBO and Showtime documentaries. Not the most uplifting, but most of them are terrific. Some of my favorites are Nursery University, Boy Interrupted, Jockey, Barbaro, The Lazarus Effect (I like this b/c of my hubby's AIDS work in Africa), The One Percent, and Sweethearts Of The Prison Rodeo.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Whit Stillman's "Metropolitan", "Last Days of Disco", "Barcelona", Matt Damon in "School Ties" and "White Squall" with Jeff Bridges. Lastly Sandra Bullock's "Blind Side". Hope you'll agree!
