I spotted these lobster pants that were originally worn for a wedding in Maine. It's always a must to dress for the theme whenever possible!
I am always impressed with the dedication that went into making this needlepoint backgammon table...someday I hope to accomplish something as extraordinary.
Special thanks to JCW for spoiling me and opening my lobster in record time. Why does food always taste better when someone else prepares it? xx
Love your dress in the photo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun evening! Love the lobster pants. Is your dress from Lands End Canvas?
ReplyDeleteSounds like so much fun! (and I love Lobster, so I am jealous!)
ReplyDeleteYum, wish I was there! Sounds like SO much fun! I love it when Brooks Brothers comes out with lobster printed skirts, slacks and shorts. Thankful we have Braxton's in Oak Brook, so I am able to get my lobster fix often. Yum!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like so much fun! My boyfriend has lobster shorts! Love the pants though!

Mmm, lobster. That needlepointed backgammon table is something else. Maybe one can be my next project! We have a backgammon set that has been in our family for easily over 100 years!
ReplyDeleteFun event--you look great.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress! If that's from Lands End Canvas I have the same one and love it. It's on sale in the other two colors and I might just have to get them because that dress is a perfect fit!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to do a needlepoint backgammon board! And, I too am a claw gal...XXOO
ReplyDeleteI love the tartan dress! And I miss lobster. I haven't had any since I visited my parents at Christmas. This must be remedied...
ReplyDeleteLove the pants..and I love lobster...I equate it with summer at its best and cannot wait to make my regular stops all along the Eastern seaboard:) to indulge!
ReplyDeleteBe sure to stop by me too...unless you already have, doing a great giveaway, a gorgeous pair of Murano handblown glass lamps...

That's so funny, I just ordered two of those tartan dresses yesterday from Canvas (the green one for st. pats day). They are on a great sale.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I didn’t get mine on sale but the dress fits great!!! My only issue is it’s a little short for my taste! xx
ReplyDeleteI am OK with Lobsters...but the real treat is when someone else picks the steamed crabs for you....
ReplyDeletethose lobster pants are so fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't like fighting for food! The Mr. does my lobster too. My favorite!!!
ReplyDeleteThat lobster looks way too tasty :) Sounds like a fun night!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get back into needlepoint. It will be a very, very long time before I attempt anything like a needlepoint backgammon board, though! Very impressive :)
I LOVE lobster, and Husband would love those pants! You both look fab!
ReplyDeleteThe Navy blazer is an exceptional choice and tartan is superbly complementary.
