Whale of a Chardonnay

St. Francis Winery & Vineyards partnered with Vineyard Vines to create a limited edition Whale of a Chardonnay. This wine is made from 100% hand-picked Sonoma County fruit. Each bottle comes with a canvas 2-bottle Vineyard Vines wine tote. A percentage of all sales goes to Waterkeeper Alliance. What's your favorite wine?

    They are brilliant marketing folks. I know it's kinda cheesey but I love a buttery, oaky Chardonnay from California. I'm also a huge Gruner Veltliner fan.

    Only problem is that I don't believe we can buy this and have it shipped to MD. Trust me - I tried when it first came out. Would be great if they would stock it in the G'town or Tyson's store.

    I'm not a huge wine person, but think I'll have to order this anyway, I'm loving the whale on the bottle! My favorite wines are rose wines!

    While I mainly stick to rye or gin for the most part, I do on occasion drink wine. Always a Riesling and usually try to get a different one every time. Lately I have been trying to collect instead of drink so I have half a dozen bottles now from picking one up to save the last few trips to the liquor store. I do enjoy some reds as well usually french but I don't drink with meals very often so the bulk of my wine purchases go to Riesling wines.

    How cute is that! When it comes to wine I am not picky, I like all kinds. I tend to drink white in the hotter weather and red in the colder weather. I love a good Riesling on a hot Summer day.

    I like most reds and Riesling. I would love to have that, but unfortunately you can't have alcohol shipped to Alabama either. They have to have their profits/taxes from alcohol sales.
