On the eve of National Wear Your Lilly Day I went to the National Aquarium's unveiling of their commemorative Lilly Pulitzer Murfee Scarf at The Oregon Grille.
Lilly Pulitzer created the scarf to celebrate the National Aquarium's 30th Anniversary.
Strawberry Lemonade hit the spot.
Lilly Pulitzer only made 500 of these commemorative Murfee Scarves for the Aquarium.
The silk and cashmere scarf depicts octopuses, turtles and star fish swimming in a sea of turquoise.

Even the lawn jockeys were accessorized with pink and green!
Special thanks to Ms. Caroline for including me in the celebration...what a gorgeous evening! xx
Reminder to cast your vote in the Lilly Lovers contest and today is the last day to enter my Wm. J. Mills & Co. seersucker bag giveaway.

ReplyDeleteLucky ladies! I visited the National Aquarium when I was 9 and remember being in awe of it. Love Lawyer Liz's styling with the ruffle top and your accessories look great with your dress :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous, thanks for sharing- I don't think I have ever rushed so quickly to get my credit card to purchase something! As a lover of sea creatures and a fellow Marylander who loves the Baltimore aquarium, this was perfect, the only thing better would to have been at the event! I love your blog, it always gives me new ideas of places and things to check out.

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty scarf! I hope you and Lawyer Liz went home with one. I love LL's blouse. Do you mind asking her (if you don't already know) where she purchased it? It would look perfect with a new skirt I just bought. xo xo
ReplyDeleteI just about broke my neck reaching under my desk for my purse! In a few short days, I will have one of those beautiful scarves. I'm a scuba diver, and this is one of those "must haves" for me!
