Legacy Chase II

My alma mater Roanoke College had an alumni tailgate...clearly not much has changed since college.

There were Roanoke koozies that read "Double fisting since 1842"...in other words having two drinks at a time. Some colleges are known for different types of accomplishments.

The food was catered by Andy Nelson's...a local BBQ favorite.

There were five races throughout the day.

We couldn't leave without stopping by JAB²'s tailgate.

Before calling it a day we had dinner at The Oregon Grille.

The restaurant has wonderful food and the interior is filled with equestrian decor.

Their entry way is made to look like a tack room with saddles and bridles on the wall.

The Soft Shell Crabs were just what I needed after a long day.

    Looks like it was a fun time! I adore The Oregon Grille, it is one of our go to's for special occasions (including my rehearsal dinner in June!)

    I went to Virginia Tech and took many trips to Roanoke College! Beautiful campus! Looks like a TON of fun!
