Waterfowl Festival

Last month we went to the Waterfowl Festival in Historic Easton, MD. with Dixie & Cooper's parents.

After buying our tickets we immediately headed over to the Dock Dogs tent.

We could have watched the dogs retrieve for hours.

They were loving the water.

If I ever need a bag for my duck decoys I am going to go with one from Canvas Backs of the St. Lawrence.

There was some very attractive hunting gear, like this shirt from Braeval...

and these Dubarry waterproof boots.

It was the perfect place to fulfill all of your taxidermy needs.

As we walked back to the heart of town we came across a yard sale filled with duck themed items for sale.

The changing leaves where beautiful.

EAS & JCW with the Washington College mascot.
I went to WAC for my freshman year of college before transferring to Roanoke. I remember during freshman orientation my dorm painted a Taxidermist's store...only on the Eastern Shore.

JCW sampled two different types of Cream of Cream Soup.

We had a great time at the Waterfowl Festival and exploring the town of Easton...I can't wait to go back.

  6. I was at the waterfowl festival too! We just happened upon it as we were driving home from a weekend in St. Michael's. We were super sad to have missed the retrievers so I'm loving the pics you posted!

  7. Great event weekend! Had the opportunity to stay at the Tidewater Inn years ago! The Robert Morris Inn in Oxford is nice also, I dined there years ago, I'm dating myself but at the time I was there, Jody Powell was seated at the next table to us.
