The Inn at Perry Cabin

You can't go to St. Michael's without visiting The Inn at Perry Cabin. A few scenes from the movie Wedding Crashers were even filmed at this charming resort and spa.

We had lunch at Sherwood's Landing.

The restaurant has beautiful murals on the walls...

and fabulous views of the Miles River.

I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup.

We even bumped into one of JCW's friends who was there for a weekend getaway.

There are so many lovely details you almost feel like you are in someone's home.

My favorite space is Purser's Pub.

It's a cozy spot to have dinner or just grab some oysters.

You can't talk about the Inn at Perry Cabin without mentioning the glorious lawn. There is nothing better than watching the boats come in and out of the harbor while sipping a cocktail.

St. Michaels, MD

St. Michaels is a small resort town on Maryland's Eastern Store.

It's a wonderful place to spend a quiet weekend or take a day trip.

St. Michaels was known as "the town that fooled the British" in the War of 1812, after strategically placing lanterns in the trees which cause the British to overshoot and miss the town.

There is no shortage of seafood in St. Michaels...

and plenty of sightseeing & shopping to be had.

Jimmy and Sook has a store in St. Michaels and I just love their new custom crab pieces from Smathers & Branson.

Classic Ray-Bans have been in style for ages. I am also loving some of the new designs like the Jackie Ohh style. Sunglasses are definitely a spring/summer accessory that I can't live without.

Of Monsters and Men

This month I went to a private lunchtime show to see Of Monsters and Men at Rams Head in Annapolis.

 It was fun to listen to the music and munch on crab cake sliders.

Of Monsters and Men is a new band and I use their song "Little Talks" for the video I put together of our engagement weekend. It was amazing to hear the song live.

Easter Outing

Easter morning we headed to the BMA for brunch.

It was a gorgeous day.

 I was very happy with my Crab Benedict.

 After the meal we took a walk around the sculpture garden.

The Easter bunny was good to JCW's nephew.
