Each guest received a stemless wine glass with the event logo that one of the artists designed.
The food was from Alexander's Tavern.
In true Roanoke fashion there was no skimping on the booze.
The gallery was filled with alumni artwork...
It was great to see so many Roanoke faces...
I was thrilled to have sold three out of my five photographs and support such a great cause. One of my college roommates bought my favorite picture of a horse's muzzle.
Special thanks to the Baltimore Alumni Committee for organizing the event, the donors, artists and everyone that came out to support Roanoke College...this was definitely a change from the typical bar crawl/tailgating alumni events.
Congrats on selling pictures!! So neat. And I would LOVE to hear more details about this event. I'm an event planner for a University and I think an event like this would be fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the photograph of the horse's muzzle. Would go fabulous with all my other horse decor in our formal living room. THat's where I have my Keeneland Paddock painting and my folk art horse carvings along with a few other items.
