I hope you all had a lovely Labor Day Weekend. We had a wonderful time on the Vineyard and came back to move into our new house! Everyone always talks about foregoing the big wedding and buying a house, well we did it. A chilled bottle of Veuve was sitting on our doorstep welcoming us to the neighborhood.
We couldn't be more excited! Once we are settled we are going to figure out exactly how we want to tie the knot.
Sepcial thanks to everyone that helped us with the house buying process...we couldn't have done it without your help. xx
Congrats! Bo was already trying to do the surprise drop in this weekend but I told him to wait until you guys got settled!
ReplyDeleteHaha...we were totally expecting a surprise drop in! So much to do! xx
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! What "neck of the woods?" CONGRATS to you all!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new house! Big fan of skipping a big wedding for a house-wish my husband had been keen to that idea. Can't wait to see pictures!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! That is SO exciting. I think it is so wise to do the house instead of the big wedding. I loved our big wedding and while it wasn't crazy extravagant, there are definitely days where I wish we'd just taken all the money and bought a house instead. You're a smart gal!
ReplyDeleteYay, congratulations! So happy for yall!
ReplyDeleteCongrats girl!!!!
ReplyDeleteTruly, I do have the fondest memories of our wedding...ahem nearly 25 years ago this month.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if I had to do it all over....I do think investing in a home is a smarter move.
Congrats to you.
