Style Radar

I can't remember the last time I shopped at Gap but I didn't even have time to blink after I spotted these Tartan Loafers and placed the order. First the Emery Flats now these! I am impressed with all of Gap's plaid pieces this season. They are offering 30% off of all online orders today with the code GAPFEST.

AERIN is a global lifestyle brand inspired by Aerin Lauder's effortless style. I am hoping that Aerin Lauder expands her label from beauty products to more home accessories.

In anticipation of making our first fire I ordered this log carrier from Joss & Main...let the marshmallow toasting begin!

The Wood Clutch on Kayce Hughes's website has been working it's way up on my fall shopping list.

Congratulations to Kate "kGm" who is the winner of the His & Hers J.McLaughlin giveaway!

  5. A monogram is a GREAT idea...I am thinking it will read “JCW” that way there is no confusion about who is carrying the firewood! xx

I am excited to see what other goodies Gap is going to unveil for the holidays! xx

  11. But E, you need to try on those flats. They stocked them in Towson and they were incredibly uncomfortable (and I've bought cute Gap shoes for trends before).

  12. I agree - I stopped by the Gap at Towson tonight too and tried them on. It's a definite "No" from me. Poor construction. the pink piping was a weird color, and overall shoe was pretty bad. The online photo was much better than the real thing. Hey - I was disappointed too!

  13. Wow, the wood clutch is stunning. Nice blog work. I came across your blog while “blog surfing” using the Next Blog button on the Nav Bar located at the top of my blogger.com site. I frequently just travel around looking for other blogs which exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people express themselves. Thanks for sharing.

  14. That’s too bad the shoes didn’t work for you all. They totally surpassed my expectations for shoes under 40 bucks and when I got them I thought they looked exactly like they did online! xx

  15. Erin, the Gap is back to being wonderful a lot of the time. Their shoes last season and this have been wonderful. I stockpiled a ballet flat from last winter in several colors and they've been major. Thanks for these though as I hadn't seen them. Black Watch is never wrong!

  16. erin... i got about five pairs of the gap loafers: hot pink suede, black with white dots, herringbone with purple, black linen with a crest and one more... they fit well and are true to size. got them at the gap in towson. also got a cheetah pair at dsw. i can't wear heels anymore, so these are perfect.
