Legacy Chase

The Legacy Chase at Shawan Downs is always a great day and sometimes even proves itself to be a little too much fun.

The weather was perfect for races.

 
All of the essential tailgate items.

Southern Proper's Cotton Pickin' bowtie couldn't have been better coordinated.

I wore an equestrian themed top from Tuckernuck.

There was a wonderful turnout at Roanoke College's alumni tailgate.  

Mac and Bob's sticker for a friend's joy ride...now that's a blast from college.

    Oh Mac and Bob's. That's where my high school boyfriend's graduation party was! Actually, a bunch of us were sitting around talking about Mac and Bob's the other night. So random!

    I didn't realize you were an RC alumni. I'm class of 2005. I've never made it to the Shawan Downs event due to always traveling for work. Looks like a good time.

    And holla from SW VA. I think we have talked on Twitter about our Lexington connection. I almost went to RC - literally it was either that or Macon - and I chose Macon! We might have known each other if I had gone to RC. haha!
