We spent my bachelorette at The Greenbrier and started the weekend festivities with Greenbrier Mint Juleps from the lobby bar.
Special thanks to all the ladies for making the weekend so very special, between fixing all of my favorite foods, the monogrammed shower and leaving your little ones for the very first weekend. I feel so loved and very lucky to have you all in my life! xx
I love the background the Greenbrier website gives - "The oldest account book at The Greenbrier dates from 1816 and it reveals that guests order “juleps” at a cost of twenty-five cents per drink or three drinks for fifty cents." Prices have certainly gone up! Fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove the greenbriar and mint juleps!
ReplyDeleteLoved following all the fun on Instagram! Can't wait to see more photos and you very soon! xoxo
ReplyDeletelooks perfect just about now. Hope you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteThe Greenbrier is fantastic, what a great place for a party.
ReplyDeleteI may be bypassing my Mint Julep recipe for this one for tailgating at the races in a couple of weeks. I will just have to try this one out....three or four times. ;-) Thanks!
Carey, 25 cent juleps would have been even more trouble than 17 dollar ones!
ReplyDeleteBriana, let me know how they turn out!
xx
Have always wanted to go there. Love the cups!

Gosh I love that place. Way too many fun memories. Did you ladies go to the indoor pool? I cannot remember seeing any photos of that on your fun Instagram feed. I always enjoy some Casino, some outdoor and indoor pool action, going to the different bars and playing billiards with a cocktail in hand. So much to do in so little time!

I want to go to the Greenbrier so bad! I've been to the Homestead and I'm obsessed! So glad you had such a lovely bachelorette weekend!
ReplyDeleteA monogram shower?? Amazing idea!!!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm!!! Loved seeing your pics from the Greenbrier on IG!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Makers Mark ready-made mint julep? I can't seem to find it here in ATL, maybe I need to take a trip! My own mint juleps just don't seem to work.
ReplyDeleteJust love the Greenbrier, so southern and dreamy!..You have nice friends!
These are such amazing memories you are making, Erin! You will ALWAYS look back and cherish this weekend. xo
