Sarasota polo was also on the agenda...
...it was fun to see the stables and do some people watching.
The beach bar continued to be one of our main attractions.
We had some amazing meals but Euphemia Haye was by far the best restaurant we visited. For dessert you're taken upstairs and given a tour of their homemade pie bar.
homemade pie bar? sounds perfect.
ReplyDeletevery nice. Really like your top in the first photo!
ReplyDeleteEuphemia Haye is amazing!!! We love the Columbian as well. Great food at both spots!
ReplyDeleteThe coolest thing about the pie bar is you can request them to make any pie you want a week prior to your reservation!
ReplyDeleteWe have to do another trip soon so we can pick out our pies!
ReplyDeletePIE BAR!?!? That's almost enough to get me to FL's other coast :)
ReplyDeleteYour earrings - in the first picture - are SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you liked my town. I've been reading your blog for years, but only now decided to comment because of your trip to Sarasota.
ReplyDeleteLBK and SRQ Polo are great. Sarasota has lots more to offer so keep it in mind for your next visit.

So jealous of your trip to Florida. Never been to Longboat Key, but looks like a great place. We are "stuck in Baltimore" this winter with the newborn. Looking forward to seeing you at the races in April.
ReplyDeleteThis post is making me long for sun on my face, Jacks on my feet and a drink in my hand. Thanks for helping me vacation vicariously! -KLV in PHL
