I finally broke down and ordered a pair of
Uggs. I've never had a desire to even try them on but with being in my third trimester, I thought I would go for it! I ordered them through
Zappos in anticipation of using their free return shipping.
So far the Uggs have been very comfortable and come in handy with the snow and freezing temperatures.
It's already started to flurry this morning so it may be an Ugg kind of day.
I still don't get all the hype about Uggs. My husband loves the house slippers though.
ReplyDeleteTake care of that baby bump - have you considered adding a baby countdown ticker to your blog?
Uggs are the warmest! I live in Maine and I wear them during my morning drive. But they're not good in snow since they're not waterproof.
ReplyDeleteI am not proud to admit that I have a pair, but they are strictly for warmth around the house and dog walks in the cold!
ReplyDeleteI never thought I would admit this but living in Ohio, they are necessary. I bought them in black with black fur inside. I keep them clean with a mixture of water and white vinegar in a spray bottle (we have so much salt here) and the UGG waterproofing spray is a must (Nordstrom). They are not the most feminine boot but when you need to be safe and stable, they are great. Be sure to clean, dry , spray and stuff them when you put them away for the summer. They last and last, if well cared for.

Make sure you waterproof them. I don't love them but they are really practical in certain situations like when I broke my shoulder the day after Thanksgiving slipping on ice. Lifesavers. You'll put them together w/ cute outfits and make them your own.
ReplyDeleteI'm a firm believer that Uggs are UGLY, but, that's not to say I don't live in mine, haha! They are just too comfy cozy to pass up!
