There is something so peaceful about the morning after a snow storm. Everything is quieter and seems so tranquil.
I still get excited to make fresh tracks.
After our winter wonderland expedition we decided to get a workout in...the gym was pretty dead.
JCW managed to round up a crew for doubles.
I snapped a pic. of this gingerbread squash court.
We ended the blizzard weekend with some cooking and relaxation. JCW made mac & cheese and his version of Hard Times Cafe's Chili Bubba. Chili Bubba is cornbread covered with chili, melted cheese, and topped off with sour cream.
Looks like a lovely dinner after a snowy day! The snowman is just adorable! Have a fabulous Thursday! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat snow looks magical!! Enjoy every last flake of it!! We are going to be melting in the summer before we know it!

ReplyDeleteokay- love you for every single bit of this post- total perfection of adorableness!
ReplyDeletelove that you went to the gym after the storm (workouts are the only way to stay sane when it's that crazy out)- and that gingerbread squash court- so presh!
btw- your mac and cheese and chili looks incredible! I am thinking you need to do a post featuring those recipes asap since I'm sure we all have another snow-storm in the works for the remainder of winter and will need delicious sustenance!

ReplyDeleteSo jealous about all the snow! We haven't really gotten much out here on the west coast- such a bummer. I'm with you, I like to explore and revel in the silence of a snowy world. You look adorable.
ReplyDeleteI have the same Hunters and live in them every time it snows in Boston!
ReplyDeleteI love my Hunter's too... though in miami I have to wear them because it rains so much in here... :)
