One afternoon I was walking down the street and I noticed boxes on tables outside of Woodward's antique shop. It looked like your run of the mill sidewalk sale, until I saw the sign above that said everything was free. I happen to be in the right place at the right time.
I immediately dug in...
I was not the only one rummaging.
I managed to salvage some severely tarnished silver pieces.
It was questionable if this grimy silver would even polish clean? I am not one to back down from a polishing challenge.
I was forced to bring out the big guns...my silver polish wasn't doing the trick. I rarely use baking soda on silver because it can be too harsh and damaging...this was an exception.
With some elbow grease and serious determination...voila! My silver was all shinny and new! After all of my polishing efforts I felt like I had really earned my loot.Special thanks to Woodward's on “The Avenue” for brightening up my day with some divine freebie finds.
