On Valentine's Day my sister brought us red velvet cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake. It was so nice for her to think of us.
We had dinner at Meli.
Meli means honey in Greek.
The food and the decor both had touches of honey.
EAS & JCW
To start I had the goat cheese salad followed by the squash ravioli.
JCW got the lobster mac & cheese and a steak.
My favorite part of the meal was the Chocolate Mousse Bomb I had for dessert. You can also get this dessert from their carry out section.
One Roe Striped Top also turned up during the course of the weekend! It definitely fit the pink criteria but was totally the wrong season so I had to resist the urge to wear it. I found the Roe top fits true to size. I had a couple of people say they had to go up a size but that is always something I try to avoid if possible.Special thanks to my honey for being such a sweet Valentine! xx

Any weekend that begins with a cupcake is a good one in my book! Looks like a wonderful holiday for the two of you! And how lucky to get that new top! I have had it on my wish list as well!

Love love love the Roe top!! I absolutely cannot wait to wear it.
I even tried it on yesterday with a white turtleneck on underneath.... not as cute as it sounds, unfortunately!!
Oh I am so glad to hear feedback on the fit of the top. I'm always très leary of ordering sight untriedon. And, luuuv lobster mac n chz! The best I've ever had was at a Ritz but that one looks like it could give it a good run for it's money! XXOO
