Red velvet cupcakes were on the menu.
I made the favors by putting pictures of the happy couple on conversation heart boxes.
My mom made her delicious shrimp salad.
Reese's peanut butter cups are one of Lawyer Liz's favorites, so they were a must. In the background you will notice a picture of JCW and myself from 1995 in Nantucket...boy how time flies!
LL, I think all of the ladies may have had a little too much fun celebrating with you...have a great week in Florida my dear! xx
Love the photo of y'all from 1995!

So cute! Love the Sweethearts idea.
ReplyDeleteI wanna know about the pink and green dress you have on in the pic with your mom and sister. Guess I was so distracted by the CKB the first time around I missed it...XXOO
ReplyDeleteBoth you and Lawyer Liz look darling. And such a cute picture of you and JCW from 1995. I'd love to hear more about y'alls love story in a future post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great party and love the Elizabeth McKay frocks! Her line is so lovely. Wow, you and JCW were sweethearts in 1995? You'll have to share that story. :)

ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else--I'd love to hear all about you and JCW circa 1995. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous spread, and I love the favors! You and Lawyer Liz look gorg in the Elizabeth McKay dresses. The Scotland dress has been on my wishlist.
So cute! I have to say that I LOVE the favors you made. What a clever idea. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love in love with that duck platter with the fruit on top. Where is that from? Also, is it silver or petwer? Too cute! Also, the shrimp salad sounds wonderful, you should share the recipe sometime if you mother would allow. :)
ReplyDeleteomg great idea! you're so great! xoxo
ReplyDeleteMy mom has had that duck platter forever...it’s pewter. I am going to ask her for her shrimp salad recipe but knowing my mother its going to be “add little of this and a little of that”. I will definitely think about a future post of the EAS and JCW story. The pink and green dress Alice was referring to is actually a top from J. McLaughlin...it’s from a few years ago. I am so glad you all liked the favors I thought they were very sweet! xx
ReplyDeleteI found you while searching for ideas for needlepoint gifts for brides...such a cute blog! and looks like it was a wonderful party. Definitely adding you to my must-reads!
