Green Spring Valley Point-to-Point

JAB's ever so chic spread.

EAS & JCW

Riders are up.

One of the final races before returning the Benjamin H. Murray Memorial Trophy.

We were all happy the rain finally let up.

Gearing up for a race.

The Sofia Sparking Minis were very handy...nice selection A! The word is that Sofia Coppola originally designed them to take into the movie theater but they also work perfectly for horse races.

JCW, EAS, A&T

It turned out to be a lovely day despite the chilly temperatures.

Special thanks to JAB² for welcoming us to your elegant box and supplying Mr. F with some much needed whiskey! xx

On a side note...are you planning on watching Oprah's interview with Ralph Lauren today?

  4. Thanks for the RL reminder on Oprah
today. Loved the races post and
especially liked the last photo of
of the one horse and the trees. I
am glad the beginning of your
races were not as exciting as the
    beginning of the Gold Cup.

  10. All of the photos are fabulous, but that final shot just grabbed me.... it is so beautiful and serene. And we watched part of the Lauren show before a lengthy conference call, i thought it was excellent.

    Sending you a smile,

  12. I made sure to watch the Ralph Lauren interview yesterday. The Lauren family seemed very down to earth!

This race was in April...just before we ditched the barbours and boots! xx

  14. Any idea what type of quilted jacket the gentleman in the 6th photo, 4th from the left is wearing under his tweed? I have been looking for something like this for an age.

    Here is the photo:

  15. I did a little research for you...the owner was kind enough to give me the details on his jacket...

It’s Burberry Britt and actually has a thin liner that zips into the front of the jacket so it looks like there's another one underneath.
