I always love all of the wall paintings that adorn the Lilly stores. I wish you could buy actual works on canvas to hang in your home. What do you think Lilly?
No two signature stores are the same...they all have their own special touches.
Why can't all buses be Tory Burch?
The Ralph Lauren store was just as I had imagined...magnificent.
Every time I see a personalized Goyard I start thinking about having one of mine monogrammed.
Roberta's Scottie named Romeo greeted me at the door and then Roberta came over and said hello. I told her how I grew up with a Westie and a Scottie. Roberta was even more amazing then her store...I know that seems hard to believe but it's true.
As sophisticated as East Hampton is, it's just a beach town with lush green acres, road side stands and the charm of a small town.
La Fondita is a great spot for authentic Mexican cuisine...the fish tacos were spectacular.
By far the best deal in East Hampton.
I would love to go to the hamptons some time, and how cool that the bus was tory burch, I didn't know thwy had one!

Well you certainly captured the best of EH! All my favorite places, can you believe in all the time I have spent out there..I haven't been to La Fondita!! And so many people love it, obviously because its been there so long.
ReplyDeleteNext time I am out, hopefully in the fall I will make a trip to go....great post!
Gorgeous!!! I love the pics. I totally agree Lilly really should make canvases/art work of some of her prints, I would LOVE one in my house :)
ReplyDeleteEvery time you share more pictures from EH it makes me want to go even more! The stores look wonderful
ReplyDeleteOhmygoodness this is the cutest Lilly store. It's very East Hampton-- love it!!
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous! How funny is the TB bus? I'm loving that cute little scottie too!
ReplyDeleteI wish they'd make wallpaper! And, ya don't happen to have Ina's East Hampton address too do ya? I'd like to put that in my nav as a Point of Interest en route to Montauk...XXOO
ReplyDeleteSIAV, sorry I never asked my EH source about the Barefoot Contessa’s diggs...maybe next year. Have a fabulous and much deserved Montauk trip! xx
ReplyDeleteI love all your pictures, it makes me feel like I was there! Fun fun fun! Oh and I LOVE that idea of Lilly Canvas paintings, perhaps you should write them :)
ReplyDeleteMy local Lilly store gave me one of the Lilly prints by Paige Smith. I can't wait to have it framed and put up in my room. I would love a larger print--the Lilly stores make me want the designers to come to my house! ;)
ReplyDeleteOne day I would love to have a dog, and a scottie or westie are at the top of my list. Glad you had such a great trip.
SO fabulous. I need to make a trip to East Hampton next summer.
ReplyDeleteI paint watercolor seascapes! Will take commissions! very reasonable prices! I believe EAS has seen my work.
ReplyDeleteLove every photo in this post. The TB bus! I die. And I love oil cloth table cloths at the Mexican place. So bright and cheerful. I'm with SIAV and want to stalk Ina.
ReplyDeleteLoving these pics! Especially the American flag! Is that a Boden tunic I spy in there? I assume that's you in the picture, so how do you wear yours? I've only worn mine with white jeans because I feel like it's super sheer! Would love some suggestions :)
ReplyDeleteEvery time I go into a Lilly store I wonder if I could just stay in a dressing room long enough they would forget all about me and I can just move right in. Or at least have a Night at the Museum moment where they shut off all the lights and out pops Jackie and Lee and of course Lilly and we sit around drinking gin and trading dresses. Ha. I wish.
ReplyDeleteOk the DH and I are wanting to visit the East Coast soon. I love everything about the Nantucket feel. East Hampton is my favorite. I just wished I had a little bit of taste when it come to the decor and style a little more. Maybe you can help. What is a great place to stay in East Hampton( Hotel ) once we get there. Places to eat and of shop? Just thought I would ask. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am by no means an East Hampton expert but The Maidstone, Huntting Inn, and The Mill House Inn are all great places to stay. Anyone else please chime in with your favorite places in East Hampton...I love vacation recommendations too! Of course I like all of the spots/stores I have posted about and there’s still a little more to come! xx
