Gotta have a Burger

I don't eat meat that often but once in a while I gotta have a burger...that phrase is music to JCW's ears! We went to Gino's which recently reopened so I could satisfy my burger craving. Gino's is a blast from our parent's past. The original drive-up opened in 1957 and was founded by two former Baltimore Colt football players.

JCW's got a Gino Giant. The Gino Giant was the first triple decker burger ever to be sold in the fast food industry and the key ingredient is the secret sauce.

I created my own burger with my favorite toppings including onion rings. My favorite thing about the burger was the soft bun covered in sesame seeds.

We scarfed them down in no time.

If you gotta have a burger we recommend Gino's.

  1. My husband and I tried to stop into Gino's about two weeks after it opened and turned right back around after seeing the line wrapping around the shopping center! Has it calmed down?

  3. Gino Marketti!!! Oh, I remember Ginos. Used to be neck and neck with Mickie D's. After swim meets in Baltimore the big fight in the back seat was always over which one to go to. That's only if everyone wasn't meetin' up at Pappys :)

  4. Gino's looks yummy. I'm a meat girl and I think I'd love their burgers. Have you tried Chaps Pit Beef? It's in awful area of town but their sandwiches are amazing, especially with tiger sauce. I think their pit beef is so much better than what better know Boog's makes.

  5. There was a line at Gino’s but it moved faster then it looked...well worth the wait!

I have never eaten at Chaps Pit Beef merely because it’s in the parking lot of a strip club but maybe I will go with JCW next time...but there will be no lap dances for dessert! lol

  11. I could go for one of those onion ring burgers right about now!
I still think Red Robin makes some of the best burgers, my particular fave is the Banzai Burger with teriyaki marinade and a grilled pineapple slice.

Ps thanks to you I am now the proud owner of a Liddesdale and Bedale, can't wait to wear them. :-) stroods
