After the ceremony we headed downstairs for cocktail hour.
EAS & JCW
The Tomato Soup with Mini Grilled Cheese were as delicous as they were cute.
The signature drink was a Pimms No.1 Cup.
The gallery was one of the most beautiful wedding venues I had ever seen.
I loved the orange Graphic Image guest book.
The bride gave me a thank you gift.
It was the most thoughtful stationary that she had designed herself.
I got to catch up with Darko's mom before dinner.
The bride and groom's table.
I loved how eclectic and elegant everything was...stay tuned for dinner & dessert.
WOW! Everything is gorgeous! I love your dress and Darko's Mom's dress!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun, vibrant colors throughout! I always enjoy seeing a couple's personality shine through the decor.
ReplyDeleteOh la la - the Bowen looks lovely on you! What a stunning wedding... I love every detail from the bride's accessories to the tablescapes. Cannot wait to see the rest! XO
ReplyDeleteI just died when you said the Corcoran gallery-one of my favorite places! What a beautiful wedding and that stationary is to die for! Love your Lilly dress for the Winter-it looks very ethereal!
ReplyDeleteSO lovely! I can't wait to see more! We used the same guest book for our wedding, only in the metallic gold. Such a wonderful keepsake.
ReplyDeleteTruely a first class reception!
ReplyDeleteStunning! You MUST attend the Corcoran Ball. It is one of the most incredible events in DC.
ReplyDeleteI love the tablescape and of course your Lilly! Curious - who did the stationery for her that she gave you? It's gorgeous and so you!
ReplyDeleteBeing a reader is so nerve wracking!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely! You were right next door to my office- I'm to the left of the museum as you walk in the front door. The museum upgraded their cafe last year and now Todd Grey does the food. It's delish! If you're back during the day you must try it.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Darko's Mom looks so familiar. Is she a celebrity? :-)
What a gorgeous wedding! And, as always, LOVE your dress :) I've been eyeing it, but have resisted. Now that I've seen it in action I may have to track it down!
ReplyDeleteThe Corcoran has long been a favorite stop when I am in town, I can only imagine what a stunning venue it is for a wedding. Thank you for sharing the photos so we get a little look at how very lovely it is. You are beautiful in that Bowen, I love the tables, your fabulous gift, all of it!
ReplyDeleteSending you a smile,
tp
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful event! My only suggestion would be to check the spelling of "stationery" and "dining."
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the comments! The bride actually made the stationery herself. I can’t wait to visit the Corcoran gallery again and check out the cafe. Darko’s mom isn’t a celeb (she does have great fashion taste) although Darko is pretty much one around DC! xx
