The Gallery Director's Wedding I

The talented gallery director tied the knot at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.

After the ceremony we headed downstairs for cocktail hour.

 EAS & JCW

The Tomato Soup with Mini Grilled Cheese were as delicous as they were cute.

The signature drink was a Pimms No.1 Cup.

The gallery was one of the most beautiful wedding venues I had ever seen.

The bride and groom were presented and she looked stunning with her red lip and emerald green jewels.

I loved the orange Graphic Image guest book.

I did a reading during the ceremony...everyone said I didn't appear nervous, but I was.

The bride gave me a thank you gift.

It was the most thoughtful stationary that she had designed herself.

I got to catch up with Darko's mom before dinner.

The tablescapes played off of one another and came together to create a vibrant dining room.

 The bride and groom's table.

I loved how eclectic and elegant everything was...stay tuned for dinner & dessert.

  5. SO lovely! I can't wait to see more! We used the same guest book for our wedding, only in the metallic gold. Such a wonderful keepsake.

  7. I love the tablescape and of course your Lilly! Curious - who did the stationery for her that she gave you? It's gorgeous and so you!

  9. You look lovely! You were right next door to my office- I'm to the left of the museum as you walk in the front door. The museum upgraded their cafe last year and now Todd Grey does the food. It's delish! If you're back during the day you must try it.
P.S. Darko's Mom looks so familiar. Is she a celebrity? :-)

  10. What a gorgeous wedding! And, as always, LOVE your dress :) I've been eyeing it, but have resisted. Now that I've seen it in action I may have to track it down!

  11. The Corcoran has long been a favorite stop when I am in town, I can only imagine what a stunning venue it is for a wedding. Thank you for sharing the photos so we get a little look at how very lovely it is. You are beautiful in that Bowen, I love the tables, your fabulous gift, all of it!

    Sending you a smile,

  12. Looks like a beautiful event! My only suggestion would be to check the spelling of "stationery" and "dining."

  13. Thanks for all of the comments! The bride actually made the stationery herself. I can’t wait to visit the Corcoran gallery again and check out the cafe. Darko’s mom isn’t a celeb (she does have great fashion taste) although Darko is pretty much one around DC! xx
