some Apples to Apples.
The Grateful Dead card was by far my favorite in the deck.
The girlies were ready to get the party started.
We all hopped in A's new whip and headed to Summer House for dinner...thank goodness for jump seats.
The boys sat at one table and the girls at another...that seemed to be our theme for the weekend.
EAS & JCW
After dinner we headed into the buzzing bar area...Rudder's mom certainly loves her Veuve.
Happy 2012!
Special thanks to Rudder's parents for having us at the beach to ring in the New Year and Debbie at the Summer House for accommodating our requests. xx
I spy a fellow W&L alumna :-) Small world!
ReplyDeleteYum, champagne! Looked like a perfect way to ring in the New Year! x
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fabulous weekend with great friends! Hope your new year has been great so far :)
ReplyDeleteOkay I have to try Apples to Apples-I even purchased as a christmas gift this year but haven't played myself. Glad my group isn't the only one who believes in male/female tables.
ReplyDeletewhat a fun and attractive looking bunch!

I love Apples to Apples, it really is such a great game to play with a group.
ReplyDeleteI luuuuurve that monogram necklace your friend is wearing, I know you have one too. Is it too late to jump on the bandwagon? After all, Valentine's is coming up... May just have to do a nudge nudge wink wink blog posting about that soon. Hopefully hubby will take a hint!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Veuve! So yummy! And I love the photo of JCW with the big smile :) He is usually more reserved...Definitely a handsome chap.
ReplyDeleteI love me some Vueve too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! I love your turquoise necklace, where is it from?
ReplyDeleteThanks...I got the turquoise necklace from Banana Republic several years ago! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun night--love all the sparkles y'all wore!
ReplyDeleteNo better way to ring in the new year than with Veuve! You look gorgeous in all your sparkles! XO
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Too bad we couldn't celebrate NYE playing Apples to Apples together! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, this is my kind of celebration!!! Veuve & Apples to Apples! We enjoyed both over the New Year's celebrations. It's so fun to play AtoA with my boys. They don't know a lot of the "celebrities" but can use them correctly. Pretty funny!
ReplyDeleteHope your year is off to an amazing start!
xo Elizabeth
Looks like a great way to ring in the New Year! I recall a New Year's Eve where we played Apples to Apples with friends. We laughed so hard! Your necklace is fabulous, by the way. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere does a husband go Online to get his wife one of those monogrammed charms?
ReplyDeleteHer necklace is from Charm & Chain and is 24k gold. http://www.charmandchain.com/search?q=monogram
ReplyDeleteStar Monograms has a gold fill version that's not quite as much.
