Summer Footwear

It's time to kick up your heels for summer! I always stress how much I love ordering from Zappos because of the free shipping and super fast delivery. I am trying to decide which color I should order in these Bow Slippers...I like the pink and blue.

 

It's also time for my annual pair of new jacks. I am really feeling the Vachetta Neon Navajo along with the Raffia Navajo.

 

The new Georgica style in cork would also be a fun neutral.

My closet would warmly welcome every color of Varina Flats but in particular this rose shade. These shoes are all you really need to make an outfit complete.

 

My summer no-brainer is a pair of Tkees in Sunkissed.

My local jewelry store, Radcliffe Jewelers carries an incredible line of monogram necklaces.  You can order your initials in three different size options with the choice of script or block. They offer silver, gold vermeil, 14 carat gold and diamonds so there's a wide price range. 

I already have a script necklace with my maiden monogram so I am thinking it's time for a block necklace with my married monogram. I spotted this block piece a couple days before my wedding and loved that you have the option to wear it long or short.

Wedding Morning Prep

The morning of my wedding I headed down to the Maryland Club where we were having our reception so I could check up on some last minute details.  

 

I can be totally OCD (and that's putting it mildly) so I had to make sure all of the blue & white details were in place.

 

It was fun being a wedding planner for the day and all the running around made the morning fly by.

 

When I got to the club, Radebaugh Florist had already delivered the arrangements. I kept it very simple with hydrangeas in julep cups but I also had them create this large arrangement. They used a Blue & White Ginger Jar that I purchased from The Pink Pagoda. I couldn't have been happier with the way the arrangement turned out and it looked lovely in the foyer.

When my mom enlisted my help in finding shoes for the wedding, I immediately thought of L.K.Bennett. L.K.Bennett is a British fashion house offering collections of classic shoes styles, womenswear & accessories. They also happen to be a favorite of Kate Middleton.  My mom ending up wearing the Bruton Toe Cap Heel which was the perfect shoe to match her navy skirt suit.

Wedding Blessing

A friend that I have known since kindergarten gave us the most thoughtful wedding gift...a blessing of Donna Jean Godchaux from the Grateful Dead. We will forever cherish it!
