Hope Lodge

The designers at Lilly Pulitzer lillyfied a portion of the Hope Lodge in Atlanta for the American Cancer Society’s 100th birthday.

The walls were painted with bight colors and the benches adorned with printed pillows.

"Lilly Loves Hope" is the exclusive print designed for the American Cancer Society. 20% of all the sales of the Murfee Scarf are donated to the American Cancer Society.

Evergreen Wedding

Mint juleps cooled off wedding guests on one of the hottest days of the year at Evergreen Museum.

Posing with the best man.

Passed hors d'oeuvres...shrimp at weddings always remind me of my heimlich incident of '09.
These two are next to tie the knot.
Lovely flowers by Julie's Floral Design in the carriage house for the reception.
Sarah & Tiz

The surf 'n' turf  entree couldn't have been more delicious.

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. and best wishes for a happy and healthy life together.

Mark and Graham

Mark and Graham is part of William Sonoma, Inc. and specializes in personalization and monogramming.

We believe that a mark is more than a symbol;
It's an artful mingling of typography and design
that turns a gift into a personal gesture.
It can be bold and boisterous
or subtle and refined.
It can join families together
or celebrate individuality.
I am already envisioning the Coasters and Tumblers displayed in my house...

...and this personalized Striped Cotton Shirt is a great summer to fall transition piece.
I also spied some cute gift items for gents, like these Leather Catchalls and Decanters.

The Ribbon Sheets look so clean and crisp in navy & favorite color combination.

It's a lot of fun playing around with the monogram maker for each product. I love that you can actually see how the item is going to look personalized before you order it. They offer some great design options and bright colors.

Now, just to decide on the Grosgrain Guest Towels or the Waffle Weave.

Brunch Date

I had a brunch date at Woodberry Kitchen with Nelle from Stone Hill Farm.

They have the most delicious Gluten Free bread that I have ever eaten. It's served warm with room temperature butter.

As we were leaving we saw the restaurant unloading their bounty from a local farmers market.

Friday Tune

I was much more of a Rugby fan that I am of Denim & Supply but I love this song. RL did a great job collaborating with Avicii and letting people shop the looks from the video. Happy Friday! xx

HydraFacial at The QG

Over the summer I posted about a HydraFacial event that the Quinntessential Gentleman was hosting. The Talented Gallery Director said she had been wanted to try the HydraFacial so we scheduled facials together.

We looked around the shop before going upstairs for our services.
I spotted my Smathers & Branson Maryland Flag key fob.
One of the steps of the HydraFacial was a suction that removed all of the impurities from your skin and you could feel it working. We had so much fun catching up and learning how the machine worked. Our skin was hydrated and we could really tell a difference for the next month.

The QG offers all of the traditional men's barber shop services but also has an amazing tailor that does custom suits and shirts. Next time you need a gift for your beau schedule a HydraFacial for won't be disappointed.

Fall Tote

I am smitten with this season's must have bag. It's the perfect size and I just know the acorn will go with everything in my closet.

Wedding Reception

After the cocktail hour everyone headed downstairs to the reception.
We were going for more of a party feel, so we didn't have a sit down dinner.
There was a sushi station from one of our favorite restaurants, made to order Crab Cakes, Tenderloin, Caesar Salad and Western Fries.
The band played through dinner.

Instead of a wedding cake we had a sundae bar of homemade ice cream complete with cones, hot fudge and sprinkles.

Photos of us on a sideboard in the hallway.
Our favors were Moon Pies. We ordered way too many but there were hardly any left over.

Wedding Cocktail Hour

Our cocktail hour and reception was at the Maryland Club.

 Raw Bar

Signature Drink
I was a total stickler that the Old Line was available from cocktail hour to last call.
