I had been thinking about following the colored denim trend for quite sometime. At first I didn't think I could pull off colored jeans but after I tried them on at Athropologie I was sold.

A&T's Wedding II

After the cocktail hour it was time to head into the tent for dinner and dancing.

 It was a pink & green wonderland.

The grosgrain wrapped vases were A lovely element to the tablescape.

 The bride and groom had a table for two.

The first course was a Potato Leak Soup with a Crab Cake on top of a Fried Green Tomato.

JCW was very happy with the main course...he especially liked the French Frie Basket filled with Mashed Potatoes.

There was a Cuban cigar roller which was a huge hit with the gents.

A&T tied the knot last month and the invitation set the theme for their pink & green wedding.

 The stone church was quaint and cozy.

The Pink Pagoda and Giveaway Winner

These chinoiserie motif prints from The Pink Pagoda are ever so charming and very whimsical. I am partial to the elephant and porcelain themed prints in their collection. I just found out that one of my dear friend's is expecting...wouldn't these prints be adorable in a nursery?

They've Done It Again

             

It was a beautiful weekend and we were very busy between a wedding and the Annapolis Sailboat Show. I wore a Chloe & Reese dress to the wedding. I had originally ordered a size 0 but when I received the dress it was a size 2 and fit perfectly. I guess the shopping gods were looking out for me on this one...next stop the dry cleaners! Today is the last day to enter my giveaway for monogrammed earrings.

Monkey Bread with a True Prep

In honor of my sister's birthday this weekend I wanted to share her recipe for Monkey Bread. She is the queen of Monkey Bread and makes it every holiday. She skips the walnuts and raisins but whips up a white icing that she drizzles over the finished product. Whenever it's in the oven we both would rather skip the meal and head straight for dessert. Seeing Lisa Birnbach learn to make monkey bread takes me back to when SAS and I met her at a "True Prep" book signing last year.
