Lobster Fest

February is for Lobsters.

I spotted these lobster pants that were originally worn for a wedding in Maine. It's always a must to dress for the theme whenever possible!

The lobsters were delicious...knuckle meat is by far my favorite.

EAS & JCW

I am always impressed with the dedication that went into making this needlepoint backgammon table...someday I hope to accomplish something as extraordinary.

Special thanks to JCW for spoiling me and opening my lobster in record time. Why does food always taste better when someone else prepares it? xx

Yum, wish I was there! Sounds like SO much fun! I love it when Brooks Brothers comes out with lobster printed skirts, slacks and shorts. Thankful we have Braxton's in Oak Brook, so I am able to get my lobster fix often. Yum!!!

Mmm, lobster. That needlepointed backgammon table is something else. Maybe one can be my next project! We have a backgammon set that has been in our family for easily over 100 years!

Love the dress! If that's from Lands End Canvas I have the same one and love it. It's on sale in the other two colors and I might just have to get them because that dress is a perfect fit!

I love the tartan dress! And I miss lobster. I haven't had any since I visited my parents at Christmas. This must be remedied...

That's so funny, I just ordered two of those tartan dresses yesterday from Canvas (the green one for st. pats day). They are on a great sale.

Unfortunately I didn’t get mine on sale but the dress fits great!!! My only issue is it’s a little short for my taste! xx

I am OK with Lobsters...but the real treat is when someone else picks the steamed crabs for you....

That lobster looks way too tasty :) Sounds like a fun night!

I'm trying to get back into needlepoint. It will be a very, very long time before I attempt anything like a needlepoint backgammon board, though! Very impressive :)

The Navy blazer is an exceptional choice and tartan is superbly complementary.
