Oh Christmas Tree

After seeing all of the Christmas decorations in NYC, I couldn't wait to get back to Maryland and cut down our Christmas tree. We headed to Mt. Carmel Tree Farm in search of a Fraser Fir.

We took a lap around the farm before settling on a tree.

After cutting down our tree, we waited for the tractor & wagon to pick us up. It's such a treat having the smell of a fresh cut tree fill the house.

I agree...I love the smell of pine and of fresh greenery filling the house during the holidays.

Hope you are enjoying your holiday season!

How fun...something I have always wanted to do but have not. One day..maybe next year!

Bryce considered having a fake tree this year...my parents have an extra one that's really nice, but I said ABSOLUTELY NOT! I can't give up that fresh tree scent! Would love to cut one down ourselves next year!
