I'm in the market for new throw pillows for our living room. My first instinct is to go for a plaid but I am carefully weighing out all my options.

- I simply adore the American flag and I am constantly inspired by my surroundings. I love wearing anything with ruffles. I have a special place in my heart for animals and the water. I cherish photography and sculpture. I believe in fate. Summer is my favorite time of year. I like smelling cinnamon buns. I can’t live without back-rubs, online shopping, heating blankets, pink nail polish, plaid and hydrangeas. I get excited before a storm. There should be more random acts of kindness. I love antiques and decorating. I mostly wear flats. Anything seersucker is adorable. I will never get sick of eating tomato mozzarella. The best thing about the beach is outdoor showers and eating candy. All pools should be heated. -EAS

I have the Scalamandre Tiger silk velvet in my WS Home cart right now. I love the couch that Lee Radziwill had covered in it. Her daughter-in-law, Carole, has it now. Just need to justify the price. Let us know what you come up with.

Have you read Carole's book "What Remains"? It's about her marriage to Anthony Radziwill and friendship with JFK jr and Carolyn BK. A heart-wrenching read, but very good. As if Aviva of RHWONY thinks Carole had a ghost-writer!! Anyway, the couch gets a mention or two in the book. That's how I knew the lineage.
I totally need to read her book especially after all the drama surrounding it on the show! Thanks for the heads up. xx

In my humble estimation, every room needs a hint of plaid and a dash of navy. But, the cane rug pillow is a nice, similar touch. - KLV in PHL
