Memorial Day weekend we hit the road for a wedding and our first stop was
Bethesda Row.
EAS & JCW
For Lunch we went to
Cafe Deluxe. JCW had the Lamb and Goat Cheese sandwich with a side of Gruyere Mac & Cheese.
Keeping in mind that I needed to be in a dress in a few hours...I ordered a Beet and
Goat Cheese salad. I must admit there was some serious food envy of JCW's selection.
Then it was time for shopping...I can now say that I have been to all three of the
Sassanova locations.

Georgetown Cupcake to pick up some sweets for the bride and groom.
The line was out the door, but I finally made it inside.
...with cupcakes in hand, ready to leave for
Old Town Alexandria.
Before the wedding there was a little time for some relaxation and to scarf down some cupcakes.
The wedding gift bag was filled with goodies.
The "Be Well" box was such a cute idea and rather handy...can you tell the bride worked for
Martha Stewart?

Ohh you were across the street from our old apartment. I do miss being so close to Bethesda Row! Dangerous w/ all the delicous places to eat and stores to spend $$ though ha! xx
The "be well" box could double a post reception hangover kit....I believe that was the intent and I salute the thoughtful wedding couple...We've all had a touch of the "Irish Flu" after a rockin' good time and too much Mount Gay at a friends wedding.
