Bands in the Sand

We went to the 5th annual Bands in the Sands benefit for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

EAS & JCW

My cocktail(s) of choice was a Southside.

There were some great silent auction items.

Boatyard Bar & Grill was the presenting sponsor of the event.

O'Malley's March was one of the bands that played.

EAS & The lead singer of O'Malley's March...he also happens to be the Governor of Maryland.

Looks like the perfect summer night to me! You have such a sun-kissed glow in all of your pics recentley, so I have to ask: is it all the sun au natural or do you use a sunless tanner as well?

Great pic with Gov. O'Malley- I've always had a slight crush on him! And I'm dying to try a southside xoxo

Love your blog. Looks like a great event. If you entertain questions - how is the Lindsay's mix for Southsides? I have heard varying reviews. I generally mix my own, and used to get Mr. Lee's but do not live in the North Balmer area anymore.

Lindsay’s is pretty good and I am assuming it was all donated for the event...which makes me like it even more! You do have to make sure it’s stirred or use a shaker when mixing a drink...I may just have to do a Southside post. I have never had Mr. Lee’s mix...will be on the lookout!

I must confess I have been airbrush tanned a few times this season. I don’t mess around with the tanning lotions, towels, or sprays. Airbrushing is AMAZING! I have also spent my fair share of time at the pool.

Women were going crazy over the Governor...especially when he jumped off stage into the crowd and played his guitar on the beach!

Gotta love Balmer hon! xx

I would have been bidding heavily on that duck decoy!
Great pictures....that tree along the Bay is particularly artistic.

Looks like a super-fun event! And how cool is it that your governor plays in a rock band? I can't see (nor do I want to see) our top dog in Kentucky doing that. Yikes!
