Back to the Beach
I am heading back to the beach and I can't wait to spend some one-on-one time with the ocean. Be back next week!

Bands in the Sand
This summer we attended the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's fundraiser Bands in the Sand for the second year in a row.
There were some great raffle items including 20 of your own personally designed Vineyard Vines ties.
It was a lovely night to spend on the water and some guests even arrived by boat.
The bars were fully stocked and the food was from Boatyard Bar and Grill.
JCW & EAS
The bands kept the crowd happy all night.
Leave it to Mr. W to have had the best looking beach chair at the event. The chair was from Nantucket Beach Chair and was fully equipped with his monogram.
Special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. G for having us as their guests. xx

I'll just be a minute
After my Pusser's lunch date with JCW, I couldn't resist running into Star Monograms to drop off yet another tote to be monogrammed. Katie was getting together the most darling bridesmaids gifts for a wedding that weekend.
All the bridesmaids were going to receive monogrammed Tervis Tumblers, silver ball necklaces....
and personalized trays.
I poked around the store for a couple minutes after deciding on the monogram for my new tote. By that point JCW had made his way outside so I had to make it snappy.
I admired the Bosom Buddy Bag display...
My finished tote! If I wasn't so matchy matchy I would probably be able to cool it with the totes...but let's face it that will never happen!

Pusser's Caribbean Grille
Pusser's on the waterfront in Annapolis is one of my favorite lunch spots.
It's relaxing to sit dockside and take in the water views.
The restaurant has a great bar with delicious rum cocktails like their signature "Painkiller".
The Woodwind from Wedding Crashers is docked next store to Pusser's and available for cruises.

I like to add a Crab Cake to the Pusser's Tropical Salad.
I always find it a challenge not to feed the ducks.

31st Birthday
Today is my 31st birthday and we spent the weekend in NYC celebrating. It was such a treat to shop, eat and hang out with JCW...all of my favorite things! We couldn't have asked for better weather or smoother travels.

JCW's Graduation
After stopping in Thomas Pink at the the Mayflower for cufflinks we headed to Georgetown for JCW's graduation. There was a lot of commotion about "University" being misspelled on all of the commencement programs.
I managed to score a seat on the aisle...better for paparazzing.
JCW during the graduation march.
Fortunately his graduation took place on the lawn. It was the last ceremony that day to be outdoors because the rain was on it's way.
The ceremony turned out to be pretty painless but I brought the Peg Game to keep myself occupied...just in case.
Cheers to JCW! I am very proud of him for graduating and impressed that he was able to commute to DC everyday. However, we are going to have to work past the severe road rage he developed along to way.
After graduation he had one thing on his mind...food. He took us to Jetties which was a usual stop for his Lunch Club. Starting Lunch Club was JCW's greatest accomplishment while at Georgetown. In essence the club was a group of people that went to different restaurants for lunch every week.
All of the sandwiches are names after beaches in Nantucket.

"Jetties is a Nantucket style sandwich, salad, soup, and of course ice cream beach shack"
Tom Nevers: Carved turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce tomato and mayo on triple-decker toasted sourdough
Nobadeer: Carved turkey and stuffing with cranberry sauce and mayonnaise on sourdough
This sandwich is seriously better then Thanksgiving!
