Last month I went to
The Hunt Valley Antiques Show's New Collectors Soiree which benefited Family and Children’s Services of Central Maryland.
BLS & EAS
Wine tasting
Scotch tasting
We toured the antique show with designer Stiles Colwill who also owns
Halcyon House Antiques. He was a wealth of knowledge. One of the most valuable lessons he taught us was don't take a dealer's word for it.
He was wearing needlepoint
Stubbs and Woottons...which made me value his opinion that much more.
Were they excited about new purchases...or was it the scotch?
The two lovely chairs of the event.
After the show we headed to
Tark's for dinner and drinks.
JCW decided to make an appearance at the end of the evening.

thats my kind of party - scotch and antiques - can't go wrong! did you get anything?
Haha, the event chairs sure knew how to keep both the gals AND the guys content! So smart!
That looks like a really well-organized show with some great antiques. Wine and scotch tastings too - yes, please! And to be able to take a tour of the show with a designer is so fun :)
Fun, fun! And I love your outfit, so cute!
love the wall with paintings. can i have them all? hope you bought yourself something nice-you deserve it!
Maybe JCW smelled the scotch? Still so envious of your life style.
you and your mom looked great! and i have a feeling those guys were definitely happy about the scotch :).
Ahhh, I LOVE a good antique show! We appear to have the same Lilly phone cover, how funny. Looks like tons of fun!
You look adorable! That outfit was perfectly suited for that event!
Have a thing for those Bull's Eye mirrors...XXOO
You two are always so adorable - you in your Hermes and JCW in his Barbour! Wine tasting and antiques? I'm in!
Love that Federal mirror! Please do tell if you got anything wonderful. ;)
I love federal mirrors! The item that was tops of my list was a tortoise shell box which was nowhere near my budget...JCW was happy there were no purchases! xx
