Over the weekend I saw Bill Cunningham New York. The documentary follows renowned fashion photographer for The New York Times, Bill Cunningham. It was fascinating to see someone so gifted and incredibly passionate about fashion that has been shooting for the past 50 years and still using film. 
Bill Cunningham hits the streets to see what real people are wearing. For example he noticed a trend of Goyard handbags and documented it with images of everyday people using their bags. Visually it's so much more interesting to see real people carrying Goyard bags verses a contrived image of a model holding one. “Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life” -Bill Cunningham

Here in the Cleveland in International Film Festival ended on Sunday. I had the chance to see this documentary! It was truly amazing!!! I love Bill even more!
