Ocean Reef Club

This past month I went to Ocean Reef Club with my mom and sister for a change in climate.

We stayed at my mom's friend's house...who is also known as Momma K. and happens to be my childhood friend's mother.

Momma K. is a talented interior designer and her place is truly spectacular.

Everywhere I looked there were special touches...like this custom Latitude and Longitude sign.

We were surrounded by nautical knick knacks and there was no shortage of Hermes blankets.

Life is good when the streets are lined with palm trees...

and Lilly golf charts.

Enter the Fishing Village...the hub for shopping and eating.

It was one magnificent boat after another.

Lunch spot

Stone crab claws with a delicious mustard/mayo dipping sauce.

My go-to flavor...rocky road

SAS & I liked to enjoy our ice cream while watching the pelicans.

Matchbook Magazine

Matchbook Magazine just launched their first issue. I could really identify with the following spreads..."50 classics for your closet" & "2o gifts for the devilishly dapper men in our lives". As far as I am concerned the magazine really hit the nail on the head with their picks, here are my favorites...

From lipstick to letterpress, gelato to grosgrain, and Paris to Peru, consider us your field guide to a charmed life. -Matchbook

Tournament of Champions

The J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions was last weekend in NYC. JCW made the journey to the tournament for the weekend.

The tournament was held Grand Central Terminal.

The iconic Grand Central glass court.

You can find more images and videos on the ToC website.

He didn't leave Grand Central before having some oysters at The historic Grand Central Oyster Bar.

He stayed at the the New York Athletic Club. The club consists of 24 floors with everything from fencing facilities to a card room.

This was the view of Central Park from the NYAC.

He managed to squeeze in a little squash at The Racquets and Tennis Club.

Special thanks to JCW for watching The Other Guys with me even though he was completely exhausted after a long weekend in NYC. xx

Bell by Alicia Bell

The clothing company Bell by Alicia Bell was founded in 2000. I fell in love with Bell's signature crisp shirts the moment I laid eyes on them.

The website allows you to design your own blouses by choosing the fabric and buttons. There are lots of great plaids, seersuckers, ginghams, and solids to pick from.

Custom blouses take between 4-6 weeks to ship.

The Madison blouse is very unique because of the full sleeve pleated fan cuff...it's my favorite and currently on my lust list!

Spade Abode

Andy and Kate Spade's home in NYC, November 21st 2010

These photographs were shot by Todd Selby and posted on his project The Selby. The Selby is a creative view inside inspiring individuals personal spaces. Browsing the website is pure pleasure or shall I say snooping around in stranger's homes is pure pleasure.

To Do List

Eagerly anticipate the Kayce Hughes Spring 2011 line.

Shop Patagonia's sale and look for a new winter hat...

CK Bradley's Apres Pom Pom Hat is also a contender.

Look for new stationary.

Try dry shampoo. I have heard Oscar Blandi's dry shampoo is great for adding volume but I am open to any other suggestions.

Go to Tutti Frutti a self serve frozen yogurt shop that is new to my area.

Pick up a new Rosebud Salve...I am running low.

Pre-order the Lilly Pulitzer Sunglass Strap aka croakies from the Preppy Princess.

What is on your to-do list?
