Grand National

This year's Grand National hats were green and brown.

We had an easy tailgate of sandwiches...

strawberries and Crab Chips...

with a fantastic railside view.

EAS & JCW

The Quinntessential Gentleman's tailgate was very impressive, complete with their "Off the Rails" specialty cocktail which was a combination of Pikesville Rye, half & half, lime and mint.

Cool. I love Pikesville Rye.

For the Off the Rails cocktail, do you mean half and half cream? Sounds interesting.

Looks like you had a great tailgate - as always! The cap is great, too. I really like the design.

I want that Grand national hat in green.
I wish the MD steeplechase meets would book more than 3 races...makes the day seem to short....and My Lady's Manor at 1 race makes the drive from our place almost not worth it.
Great photos as usual!!

Luckily we scored one of the green hats before they sold out and my dress is from J. McLaughlin. xx

Love your dress and Blanton's--perfect for the occasion! Did you know the horse figurines on the tops are collectibles? You can buy them all to make a full set!

I have the lowly brown hat but love it just the same! It was so great seeing you at GN this year!!! Here's to many more in our future! xoxo
