Solstice in the City

This summer The Old Line Society hosted a party at Cylburn Arboretum’s historic civil war era mansion. Proceeds from the event went to help support Cylburn Arboretum Association maintain the gardens and grounds, as well as provide educational programming for the community.

 OLS Committee Members

The grounds and glorious gardens of Cylburn Arboretum are hidden gems in Baltimore City. The association can certainly use all the funding they can get to restore and preserve the mansion.

Woodberry Kitchen provided the food and more importantly the rum punch.

Lawyer Liz partaking in the festivities wearing a Scotland dress by Elizabeth McKay.

Ham and Cheddar Biscuits with Red Pepper Jelly

Bruschetta

Blueberry Crumble

The beer was provided by Flying Dog Brewery.

I kept noticing such great accessories like this Moon and Lola necklace and lots of playful belts...

Custom needlepoint belt

Lilly Pulitzer crab print pants

Guests listened to tunes by The Jody Westerlund Band...

...while sipping wine from Boordy Vineyards on the lawn.

Nelle and I had a wonderful time touring the mansion.

Special thanks to all of our wonderful sponsors! The Old Line Society nearly raised $5000 in proceeds to benefit Cylburn Arboretum Association. Be sure you join The Old Line Society's Facebook page to stay in the loop about future events.
