We decided not to take our honeymoon right after the wedding because we wanted to relax and had no intention of missing Preakness.
I took a tour of Pimlico Racetrack and the Jockey's Room a couple days before the big race.
It was fun to see The Horseman's Home Grille where Jockey's could pick up anything from scrapple sandwiches to Red Bulls.
Silks Closet
Goggles
Scale
Where the valet sets out gear/tack
The tour certainly got me excited for race day.

So, when are you taking your honeymoon? And, where?
Where's the mud? :-) Are you read for Belmont?
Excellent photos! I failed miserably with my iphone. Maybe because it was so early in the a.m.! Sorry I missed you on Saturday. It was a fun day but yet again we wait for another triple crown hopeful! xx
How neat! May I ask-- do they do tours for the public, or was this a special event? I'd love to see it in person!
They do have tours for the public of the stables but I am not sure if everyone goes to the Jockey’s room. You should totally check it out! xx
