Wedding Reception

After the cocktail hour everyone headed downstairs to the reception.

We were going for more of a party feel, so we didn't have a sit down dinner.

There was a sushi station from one of our favorite restaurants, made to order Crab Cakes, Tenderloin, Caesar Salad and Western Fries.

The band played through dinner.

Instead of a wedding cake we had a sundae bar of homemade ice cream complete with cones, hot fudge and sprinkles.

Photos of us on a sideboard in the hallway.

Our favors were Moon Pies. We ordered way too many but there were hardly any left over.

Love love love how your wedding was exactly how you wanted it! Great idea going for more of a party feel...some weddings these days can be so stuffy! Also love that picture of you and hubby in the front....you look like babies! How long have you guys been together? Happy Newlywedding!

The Swanky Socialite, we aren’t big wedding people so a party was perfect for us. We were babies in the picture; it was the summer before 9th grade!

hhh, (I erased your comment…woops) That is actually the same picture from ACK, good memory! We met in middle school at a mixer and then ended up breaking up and then getting back together. The breakup was good for us bc than we knew we belonged together!

xx

I don't comment on weddings, galas, and the like, and I normally despise the adjective I am about to use, BUT, the bouquet with the bear... is awesome.

As is the Bieber hair photo.

Why thank you Brohammas! Haha...JCW was certainly no stranger to “the balti” (aka lax mullet) hairstyle. xx
