Jason Isbell
Last minute we decided to see Jason Isbell after months of listening to his new album. I can honestly say that I'll never be the same after that show. His music has a way of sticking to your soul...I realize that warrants an eye roll, but it's the truth.

Spring Flats
Chloe Scalloped Ballerina
I absolutely love wearing heels but let's face it, couldn't survive without my flats. I saw the Valentino Rockstud flats at Saks over the weekend and I'm still not 100% that I could pull them off, but I do love them! I decided to go hunting for other stylish spring flats.

Longboat Key II
We checked out some of the local stops like New Pass which sells breakfast sandwiches and bait.
JCW & ESW
Sarasota polo was also on the agenda...
...it was fun to see the stables and do some people watching.
The beach bar continued to be one of our main attractions.

We had some amazing meals but Euphemia Haye was by far the best restaurant we visited. For dessert you're taken upstairs and given a tour of their homemade pie bar.

Longboat Key I
We arrived to Longboat Key with just enough time to watch the sun set before dinner.
We were up bright and early for a little pool time before lunch.
ESW & Lawyer Liz (pre-tans)
Mar Vista had great outdoor seating and proudly served margaronas.
The inside of the restaurant was covered with dollar bills. Customer write on the bills and than staple them to the walls and ceiling. The money has been donated to various causes like 9/11 and Katrina.
After lunch, we spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the beach at Longboat Key Club.

Traveling Light
I am packing for a warm weekend and couldn't be happier about only needing the bare minimum. This illustration by Inslee captures my packing philosophy just perfectly. Enjoy your weekend!

May Designs Giveaway
After finally deciding on which zebra pattern I wanted for my May Designs notebook, I couldn't be more pleased. I am hosting a giveaway for one lucky reader to win a monogrammed notebook. There are so many pattern/color options, so it can be hard deciding.

Maryland Antiques Show
This past weekend was the Maryland Antiques Show which benefited Family and Children Services of Maryland.
Guests enjoyed cocktails while looking around the show.
I was lusting after the tortoise boxes.
At the front of the show, there were designer room installations by Jenkins Baer, Patrick Sutton and Stony Run Home.
Radcliffe Jewelers set up a handbag boutique next to the designer spaces.
The preview party theme was Mardi Gras.
