Woodberry Kitchen Brunch

Woodberry Kitchen has a fantastic brunch and is one of my favorite restaurants. We started out with the Tilghman Island Crab Pot.

Lawyer Liz and I had the Crab Benedict.

The boys went with the "Day Maker" special of Pork Belly.

"Woodberry Kitchen is a farm-to-table restaurant focusing on the best ingredients the Chesapeake Bay and mid-Atlantic regions have to offer."

Lawyer Liz, her Beau, JCW, EAS

After enjoying a wonderful meal we went on a tour of the kitchen.

I was truly impressed with how clean the kitchen was and the aesthetics of the presentation of ingredients and cooking tools.

It was very cool to see the kitchen in action.

Jill Snyder of Top Chef.

Special thanks to our lovely tour guide Jill, as well as Lawyer Liz and her Beau for including us in their brunch plans. xx

I love nothing more than crab benedict and a bloody mary for brunch!

Isn't it great to see a commercial kitchen! Problem is it makes you want to buy a bunch of pricey commercial grade stuff....

Love restaurants with concepts like this - so fresh, envrio friendly and supports home-grown. How cool that you got a tour, too!

That is our favorite place too. We went for New Years Eve and saw Cal Ripken, Jr. dining with his family! Happy New Year!!! The brunch is the best ever.

I'm sooo putting that place on my hit list! Btw, forgot to tell you J. Crew never found that tartan shirt for me. What a buzz kill that was. May try again tomorrow for some last minute Christmas returns. Fingers crossed..XXOO

ps...my family settled Tilghman Island :)

Do you recall if your Barbour jacket is the color Sage or the color Olive? Thought I'd branch out from brown, but sometimes the olive looks brown and sometimes it looks green.

Thanks!

That is so cool, touring the kitchen after the wonderful dining experience! (I was drooling by the second photo. Sigh.)

Sending you a smile,

I think my jacket is the sage...sometimes each color looks a little different depending on the website. Mine is definitely more green. You can always call the Georgetown, DC store with any color questions.

Thanks to you we have found our new favorite restaurant. My wife, myself and our son and daughter-in-law had lunch there today. It was nothing short of outstanding. Food, service and ambiance were outstanding. We will be back often. Thanks much.
