We spent the holiday weekend hanging out by the pool, picking crabs and watching fireworks on Dixie's parent's boat.

- I simply adore the American flag and I am constantly inspired by my surroundings. I love wearing anything with ruffles. I have a special place in my heart for animals and the water. I cherish photography and sculpture. I believe in fate. Summer is my favorite time of year. I like smelling cinnamon buns. I can’t live without back-rubs, online shopping, heating blankets, pink nail polish, plaid and hydrangeas. I get excited before a storm. There should be more random acts of kindness. I love antiques and decorating. I mostly wear flats. Anything seersucker is adorable. I will never get sick of eating tomato mozzarella. The best thing about the beach is outdoor showers and eating candy. All pools should be heated. -EAS

Happy 4th of July. We saw fireworks last night ~ in the rain under an umbrella. It was fun, but interesting.
