East Hampton Exploring

I had to check out the Lilly Pulitzer in East Hampton.

I always love all of the wall paintings that adorn the Lilly stores. I wish you could buy actual works on canvas to hang in your home. What do you think Lilly?

No two signature stores are the same...they all have their own special touches.

Why can't all buses be Tory Burch?

The Ralph Lauren store was just as I had imagined...magnificent.

Every time I see a personalized Goyard I start thinking about having one of mine monogrammed.

I stopped into Roberta Roller Rabbit to pick up a new kurta.

Roberta's Scottie named Romeo greeted me at the door and then Roberta came over and said hello. I told her how I grew up with a Westie and a Scottie. Roberta was even more amazing then her store...I know that seems hard to believe but it's true.

As sophisticated as East Hampton is, it's just a beach town with lush green acres, road side stands and the charm of a small town.

The seafoam green gate at Martha Stewart's home matches the trim of her house.

La Fondita is a great spot for authentic Mexican cuisine...the fish tacos were spectacular.

By far the best deal in East Hampton.

My local Lilly store gave me one of the Lilly prints by Paige Smith. I can't wait to have it framed and put up in my room. I would love a larger print--the Lilly stores make me want the designers to come to my house! ;)

One day I would love to have a dog, and a scottie or westie are at the top of my list. Glad you had such a great trip.

Love every photo in this post. The TB bus! I die. And I love oil cloth table cloths at the Mexican place. So bright and cheerful. I'm with SIAV and want to stalk Ina.

Loving these pics! Especially the American flag! Is that a Boden tunic I spy in there? I assume that's you in the picture, so how do you wear yours? I've only worn mine with white jeans because I feel like it's super sheer! Would love some suggestions :)

Every time I go into a Lilly store I wonder if I could just stay in a dressing room long enough they would forget all about me and I can just move right in. Or at least have a Night at the Museum moment where they shut off all the lights and out pops Jackie and Lee and of course Lilly and we sit around drinking gin and trading dresses. Ha. I wish.

I am by no means an East Hampton expert but The Maidstone, Huntting Inn, and The Mill House Inn are all great places to stay. Anyone else please chime in with your favorite places in East Hampton...I love vacation recommendations too! Of course I like all of the spots/stores I have posted about and there’s still a little more to come! xx
