I picked up A Perfectly Kept House is the Sign of A Misspent Life when Joss & Main was having a Rizzoli Publishing sale. The coffee table book is by Mary Randolph Carter. She's an author, photographer, designer, and longtime creative director for Ralph Lauren.
For all those who choose to live "imperfectly" with the messy things they love, this book shows how to do so creatively, happily, and with considerable style ideas from leading designers.
I rarely buy anything black but I couldn't resist the bow and ruffle details on this Milly Dress. I ordered it from Revolve Clothing and took advantage of their first time customer 30% off. I was thrilled to find out that when you place your first order with Revolve Clothing they give you 30% off...all you do is send them an email with your order number.
Gretchen Scott was running a half off promotion on Uscoop, which I snatched up right away. Now my only decision is whether to order a cotton tunic or this ruffle dress.
Have you recently had any good scores?

My vote is for the ruffle dress;)
Love that Milly dress, I never buy black either, but that detail is too perfect
Thanks is for the heads up, totally just bought the Uscoop promo!
Ruffle dress! ;)
I am definitely going to have to grab that book. It looks great. Happy weekend! xoxo
The Milly is adorable!! I vote for a tunic, they are such a summer staple! TGIF!
Ruffles, ruffles and more ruffles. You can never have too many ruffles (lol, well I'm sure there is such a thing, but we'll just disregard that!). Have a great weekend!

Years ago I needlepointed a pillow for my mother that says "Better to have creative mess than idle neatness" or something like that...I never can remember it! Whatever the precise wording, the sentiment is in sync with your new book. :)
Love the bargains you found, that Milly dress is one of my faves pieces from her!

Adore the dress!
