On our way to the Greenbrier last month, we stopped at the Leesburg Outlets. Visiting the Vineyard Vines Outlet was a must.
There were racks of color coordinated ties...
and they also had a lot of pieces from the Kentucky Derby Collection. My favorite print was the patchwork pattern that lined the blazers.
I found the Derby scarf that sold out online last year...boy did those shopping gods really step it up with the scarf that got away!
After the outlets we stopped at Lightfoot for lunch. Lightfoot isn't your typical space for a restaurant because it use to be a bank and the bar actually surrounds a safe. We thoroughly enjoyed the Zucchini Fries & Feta Dipping Sauce as well as the French Onion Soup that was topped with Gruyere, Goat Cheese and Truffle Oil.
The winner of the Silk Knot Earrings is Short Blonde...Happy early Valentine's Day!

I don't know how I missed that you went to The Greenbrier! We are going in April on our way back from a trip to Kentucky! I'd love to hear any recommendations on things to do there. We are planning on taking the skeet shooting class which I am soooo excited about!
Sadly, our route will not take us near the outlets...those were some great finds!
I love Leesburg! I'm so overdue a visit out that way!
Stay tuned for more on the Greenbrier next week...we focused mainly on relaxing and eating! TGIF
Erin, who makes the quilted jacket you are wearing in the picture? I have been looking to replace my old one and yours looks like exactly what I have been looking for!
It’s Barbour! xx
EAS, is Lightfoot in Leesburg is that the restaurant, that was an old bank? They placed bar next to the old vault great doors very neat! Come to Middleburg this Spring!
forget VV that lunch!!! But your VV picks are very cute :)
Yep, that’s the restaurant...I do need to plan a day trip to Middleburg! xx
I love Lightfoot! My husbands dad and stepmother lived in Leesburg for many years and we had many meals at Lightfoot. They have wonderful desserts. Their gift cards are actually little gold coins that have a stamp of the building on them. Very neat looking!
Good morning from L.A.!
I love your pictures from trips. They're always colorful, bright, and delicious! i'm totally craving some french onion soup now, too. Thank goodness it's one of Husband's specialties. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your weekend ahead!
Warmly,
Elizabeth
Did you read the article about the Greenbrier in Matchbook? Weren't the photos beautiful!!
Score at the outlet! Sadly I haven't found anything at the Woodbury Commons outlet in awhile.
The shopping gods certainly were smiling down on you with that gorgeous scarf !
Yes, the Leesburg outlet is like nothing I have seen before. AWESOME!
I did see the piece in Matchbook and emailed it to a friend that’s taking a textiles class...gorgeous photos. I SO miss trips to Woodberry Commons! xx
Love Leesburg, so much less depressing than other outlets!
That food looks delicious! I am glad I've never come across a VV outlet, i would be doing a lot more damage than a scarf :-) I was wearing my Barbour today too!! xx
I snagged the most adorable pink corduroy skirt at the VV Outlet in Leesburg this past fall--I want to go back! I also think that soup sounds delicious, anything with truffle oil is good in my book!
I would love some thing from their derby collection. Great find!
LOVE your scarf, so pretty!
